Software Remote Desktop software

Looking for remote connection desktop software so I can connect to my friends pc to fix a few basic probs.
I would want full acces .
I have windows ultimate but he is only on home premium both win7

Another vote for Teamviewer, small footprint and works flawlessly. I have it on my pcs, MacBook and friends machines

logmein

free for up to 10 PC's per account. Paid for version has tons of extra options including remote control from tablets.

He can also send you request for help (you might need to enable it first in My Computer -> Properties -> remote desktop) to allow remote control.
