Reset bios password

Hello guys,

I don't have unlock key. I removed the battery from bios, but still asks for password! How to restore the original settings?
Notebook model: EC10IS2

what i did with last laptop i worked on i took out the battery and held a flat end screw driver on the terminals for a few seconds then put
the battery back in and away to go.think there might be another way to do it but this is all i know, hope it helps. :)

I did this procedure, but it still keeps asking for password

The problem is ECS are a white label brand - they don't actually make the laptops themselves. As such, chasing anything down can be difficult.

It may help if you knew who the BIOS is from? That way we could at least see if one of the calculators work.
 
Find the 3 pins jumper on your motherboard beside the bios memory, move the jumper to the other side and the password will be reset
 
How can we find the 3 pin jumper ? Is there only one ?
 
Ok, thanks ! I didn't want to open my laptop, but it seems that i have no other choice
 
i took the laptop cmos battery out and left it out for like half an hour... and that didn't do nothing. when i turned it back on- to my surprise there it was "enter current password" lol
