ipad2 advise

wife is thinking about getting me one for xmas 16gb in white £499 are these worth that sort of money or would i be better of getting something else, to me they look like a big ipod but it would be handy for went i in bed, keep my eyes on forum, what do you think, whats the pro's and cons with these.

I would like a tablet esq thing, and my preference would be the iPad 2. I aint a fan of Android devices, the wife has an Android phone and I find it clunky.

I have one & im still not sure if they are worth getting, i tend to use my laptop a lot more than i do the ipad. Saying that, for a tablet they are top quality, even though the price is a bit daft.

Got one from ebuyer last month ...love it. only con so far is it dont do flash player
Love it even more now i have the kindle app and found out how to load it with mobi files Also if you have an iphone its worth having an ipad too

Adobe have stopped developing flash, the next big thing is HTML5 which apple will support

Love the ipad2 lol, I know, I am an apple fan!

It cannot replace the laptop there is no doubt, but its great in my opinion lol.

Very handy for browsing in bed and on the sofa, makes things really easy.

Price is crackers though, I bought the iphone 4s and the ipad2 and cost me a grand.

Once she gets her hands on it and starts playing angry birds you will not get it back off her lol

Hows it 499 mate, 16gb wifi model can be had off eBay brand new from reputable stores for 369 I think I saw them for, unless your think in about getting the 3g + wifi model but if its just for use inside then the 3g capability isn't needed!
