Well my laptop died a while ago and have been looking around for a new one. it came today and was dreading the amount of work that was ahead with formatting, reinstalling the software and whatnot. But no, all i did was take the hdd out the old asus rock laptop and plugged it into the new ibm t61 laptop. did a windows update and all ready to go. even the fingerprint reader worked straught off!
