hi - how do you get to see your bookmarks on the left side of the broser instead of the right ?...cos there doesnt seem to be a slide bar that you can drag to find a webpage that is at the bottom ?..if you know what i mean...like in firefox...i think its called a "bookmarks sidebar"

Not sure this is what you mean but you can drag and drop the booksmark folder to the left side of the bookmark bar.
 
no mate i mean like this...on the left the bookmarks sidebar....dont think google chrome...thought about this...this is in mozilla firefox browser..
 
Ah i get you now, not sure if its possible with chrome. Done a quick search but not finding much.
 
google its there, it was something about making a new folder,drag that to the left side, and then putting the bookmarks in that.
 
Do all of you guys use Chrome then? Is it better than Firefox and are there no more concerns about privacy stuff that Google supposedly collected?
 
i used chrome for about 2 weeks, as chrome should use less memory.
but then chrome started to go slow and take ages to load pages. so went back to firefox and is all good again.
 
Make a new folder on bookmarks bar on left , drag bookmarks to it then delete 1st folder. As GTO said it should work.
