Hi,

I'm looking to learn more about data networks. I've heard that Cisco courses are a good way to learn and obviously help when applying for jobs.

I'm currently working in IT and may have the opportunity for telecoms secondments. I'll be chatting to the telecom support guys where I work for recommendations but thought I'd ask you guys for your opinion. Which course is good to begin with and are there any companies you would recommend?

I have basic knowledge when it comes to investigation as I currently carryout some 1st/2nd level investigation.

Cheers.

Yeah defo do cisco m8,

you start with CCNA, however you can do the same level entry ones that focus on security, viop etc so it really up to you what you wanna do and just check for a cisco academy near you.

Most uni's will do them as night or part-time.

Thanks for the reply.

The annoying thing is I was about to get on the CCNA for free through my work then they run out of funding!
