IS THE EPSON R220 PRINTER ANY GOOD AND HOW MUCH DO THE CARTIRDGES COST,

RELIABLITY, QUALITY, PRICE????

THANX IN ADVANCE: multi :

I've got one of these, its cheap to buy and maintain.

The ink is cheap, it takes 6 cartridges and you pick each one up for about £3.29 <- these aren't original epson ink, but work perfectly.

I only use my r220 printer for printing CD\DVD Labels [Thats it's best feature], it does the job excellently.

I'd definatly recommend it.

new one will cost you around £60 pounds and use around £35 or less

new cost is around £60 -£75 depending on where you buy second hand its worth about 50p and a big orange.
Try to stick with new as you dont know how the second hand stuff has been treated and you get no warranty on it.
Standard working life of the printer is now around 2 years because they are made so cheaply

Hi

I Have The R265 And Can Tell You Its Well Worth The Money Really Good Printer.

Yes, amazing printer for the money. I print out all my photos on it and they look amazing. It can be costly for original ink but some third party ink does the same job

I had a R200 for a couple of years and it was excellent. Went to buy a new one and found out that the r200 and 220 had been discontinued. Had a look at the 265 but it uses different Cartridges and as such are a lot more expensive, even the compatibles from the likes of e-bay.

Eventually went with an R340. A bit more expensive than the R265 But uses the same Cartridges as the 200/220, and they can be got on e-bay for as little as £1 per set (all 6 colours) so the extra outlay for the Printer was soon paid for due to the low cost of ink.

mine is a r220 great printer - have always bought epson printers this is my 3rd and had my monies worth out them all. others didnt break just wanted newer, faster and better ones
