Virtual I-pod

Connecting the line out (green) to microphone in (pink) on your sound card would allow you to record sounds from any website (which is why some websites put an ad' in the middle of their sample ringtones). Then you just need some recording software (try audacity its free).

Note: The level you play the sound at will effect the level it records at, i.e. if you mute the sound in windows you'll end up with a silent recording.

Thanks little pob,
I will give it a go, but I was really trying to find out if the track playing could be downloaded into My Documents or the like and then recorded onto cd with nero.
Would appreciate any advice, even if it is NO it can't be done.

Cheers

Unlikely, the player is built using flash so the files won't be embedded into the player.

They'll be on a passworded server. Even if you saved the player to a local folder (e.g. My Documents), then used Flash MX to strip the server IP and password out, the likelihood that you'd be able to get into the server undetected is low.

Thanks for that little pob.
My technical knowledge of computers is minimal but you have managed to explain why I probably won't be able to do it in such a way that I can understand.
CHEERS.
