phoned nthell on friday telling them to cancel broadband (1meg £10.50 per month) as i was fed up with it and it has been really slow, so managed to get 4 meg for £12.50, they then put me thru to tech to check out my speed issue turns out their is a fault with my modem and they book engineer for next day between 8am and 1pm and guy tells me that if i am not in when engineer calls there will be a £10 charge. I wait in and engineer does not appear so call them up, they had cancelled engineer but not told me, got back on to cust. services and told them my charge to them for not turning up was going to be more than their £10 charge, so ended up with 10meg for 6 months at £11 per month and free basic digital tv package for 1 year. not bad as i was not going out that morning anyway

coming out at start of this week, my download speed is worse than dial up getting between 10 and 60 Kbps
i just hope someone else is not using my bandwith ...lol...
