HI
anyone know anything about motorbike because I,ve got a small problem I,ve just changed my indicators and now they flash to fast I,ve got a resistor but dont have a clue where it goes and i dont want to pay someone if the job is simple :Cheers:

Hi, Are they LED indicators? Did they come with resistors? If they did you just you just take the power to the resistor then to the indicator, or you could wire another indicator in and put it under your seat this will make the indicator flash slower. If you have the normal indicators then the wattage of the bulbs you are using is incorrect. I hope this helps.

yes they are LED indicators and do I need a resistor for every light because i change the front and rear or will one just do it

Hi again, If your changing front and rear indicators then you need 4 resistors. The reason they are flashing fast is that there is such a low current draw which makes the flasher relay flash fast. I had led indicators on my bike and had the same problem with the resistors fitted. You could do one of the following, 1: buy a new flasher relay, 2: fit the resistors and hope they work or 3: wire in series another indicator, one for the left and one for the right but hide these under your seat, this then will load the flasher relay which will then lower the flash rate.
