P.S.I EVEN TRYED RE-RECORDING ON OTHER BLANK DISCS BUT STILL NOTHING...............zooropa

Hi zooropa, I got the same problem with my Sony, but it is a problem because they are just not capable of playing CD-r CD-rw or DVD-r stuff etc, and its nothing to do with the region coding but apparently its something to do with laser wavelength?? Is this correct guys? Anyway I cannot find a way round it and it's a matter of getting a compatible player. Aaaarrrrggghhh, technology is crap.
:(

try copying to 'princo' / 'datasafe' blue cds
or cd-rw
works on my sony 735

tryed all that PISSQUICK still no luck.........zooropa

could try a sirrus disc if you can find some. But better off poping into Asda and spending £85 on a pacific player.

I bought a Mustek DVD V562 player for £109 and it plays all my vcd's fine ..

It plays DVD/VCD/CD/MP3/CD-R/CD-RW/SVCD/DVCD formats

My girlfriends brother bought the pacific from Asda and it would not play the movies which have worked on my machine so he took it back and got a refund...

After 1 montyh of using this machine I can strongly recommend it to anyone...

ZOOROPA LOOK IN

Hi Zooropa, the following url is great for info on which dvd player will work with which media etc. Try it with yours to find out what is compatible and what is not.

http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php

I have a fairly rare dvd player but found 25 reviews on this site! It really helped me because I cannot play any CD-R whatsoever, but I have now found the cd-rw's that will work so I'm as pleased as punch.

Not all dvd players play cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r, dvd-rw, vcd, svcd, or play all makes etc, so check your players out.

:D:

Hi m8 buy yourself a DIVX player, they will play most media around - Sainsbury's were selling them for around £45.00 BARGAIN.
