ok may be wrong section
but im pissed
lol
having a problem had the men out say nowt wrong
if i turn shower on hot full
it works ok but u melt ur skin trying to shower
so turn it down and add cold to make it bearable

should say we have a shower mixer
turn one way for hot other for cold
and pull out for tap to work

when set to give hot bearable water
it goes colddddddddd
fella said it is pumping out 11 ltrs per sec i think
which is what the boiler should push out and turning it down to cool the water drops the flow

i think he is talking a load of shi*e
what good is a boiler if u have to turn the hot tap on full to get hot water???

any ideas u wonderfull ppl who know about these things

are you sure its not the mixer tap ? normaly increaseing the flow cools the water {it does on mine}-------whats the heat flow rate on the hottap downstairs like ???

on hot tap down stairs it is 11 ltrs per sec
i have to have the hot tap on full to get hot water
if i turn it down so not splashing everywhere it goes cold

it doesnt sound right to me either m8, {what make/model is the combi} ,i had a similer problem a while back {the changeover valve was faulty}----my boiler is quite old so the internal workings of your boiler might be diffrent------------they sound like cowboys, "whoever checked yours out"

just had a look in my manual {if its an oldish boiler}Scale in the heat exchanger(both sides) and around the sensors can introduce delays in the temperature control which gives a problem like yours.

sounds like a faulty exchange unit mate what make and model is it?
