now dont lie but weve all listened to the police on some kind of scanner, but my question is i would love to get hold of the software on which they do them vehicle checks (i think they call them PNC but not sure on that one) anyway if anybody has this or imformation on this then i would love to hear from you??????????????
thanx

The PNC check must be a 'net' connection into the DVLA main system, and not a database that the Police keep and update with software etc. This must be the case because they can check not only owners details, but vehicle identification numbers, engine number, engine fuel type, how many doors, colour, previous owner, whether the vehicle has valid tax, and now also whether the vehicle has valid insurance! Plus loads more info.
Its not going to be software thats needed. It will be an untraceable, undetectable working connection into DVLA's main database. Hmmm, that may be a little difficult. Anyone help here?

As far as i can remember PNC stands for police national computer. Its a mega machine in london with links to EVERY station via microwave dishes and repeaters and also linked to DVLA. I think it was excite that turned up the most info, but it was ages ago
