Gardeners - Looking for a straight shaft strimmer/drush cutter ?

Hi All

I have cheapy petrol strimmer (Chinese rubbish) and it's OK....But looking to purchase a property that is THICK with brambles, plus it will get used on my other properties.

Looking for a straight shaft that will do heavy brambles/grass.

Must be straight shaft, i like Stihl products and have had a 9" petrol grinder for YEARS with water input and it's not missed a beat.

Anyone recommend a model?

I presume you need to 'swap heads' for string/grass, to metal blade/bramles etc.

Any advice welcome.

Cheap as chips are they really any good??

STIHL not purchased one...lol What are they like for spares though/warranty ??

Looking at this, i have about 30-40m2 off 6ft high brambles, some 2" thick !!!
