ok ive tried all sorts to stream movies on firestick through ISP just tonight tried IP Vanish running on firestick.. sky still blocks all streams... if i set up my phone as a hotspot the streams are found... assumed if i was going through a VPN it wouldnt be blocked? anyone on sky found a way around this.

Sky don't block all movies and streams on fire stick as I have sky fiber and have been running 1st and 2nd gen fire sticks for ages. Do you maybe have skyshield set up? I'm currently watching hawaii five o so I no it is ok. I am currently using specto, exodus and salts.

This is a guess but I'd suspect something on the Firestick is using local/Sky DNS instead of the far-end.

if you search for guardians of the galaxy for example is it blocked on exodus mate? its sky fiber and skyshield is defo switched off...

hmmm ignore the above please daft thing is i have the movies im trying to watch on bluray lol just like the convienance of kodi

no issues here mate with kodi and exodus and guardians of the galaxy. Just testing it here and have a nice 1080p version working. What version of kodi are you using.

Which kodi 16 or 17? There's a setting in 17 you need to change. Sure there's a video on here so.ewhere if it is 17 you've got

I think this is the video you may be thinking of @seanicca. I posted this a bit back and if you are using kodi 17 @Colin you should definitely try altering these settings. If you are still using kodi 16 then https streams will not work.
