I took an offer deal with Deezer last year For a years sub for £25. I was paying £9.99 monthly before that. The b astards have now just taken £119.88 from my paypal as a preauthorised subscription for the next year :( I have emailed their support to try and reverse this but no doubt it will be in the small print somewhere.

If anyone has taken a similar deal last year make sure you cancel it on paypal and deezer before the discounted deal expires or you will get creamed for a years subs :(

Can you not dispute with Paypal Ian ? maybe say you did cancel and they took anyway ? surely they would have to prove you didn't ?

I have emailed deezer support saying I did not authorise a years payment and have asked for a refund. If they refuse I have 180 days to open a paypal dispute. If they don't then its not a disaster as I do use deezer a lot lol just wasn't expecting to pay a year up front. I was expecting a £9.99 payment to come out and it to revert back to monthly :(

Result :)
Just got this from Deezer.

Hi Ian,
We're sad to see you go!
You signed up to a 1 year promotion and as stated on the terms and conditions you accepted, the automatic renewal was active in your account and that is why you received the charge.
I've gone ahead and cancelled the Premium+ subscription associated with ian****@hotmail.com and there will be no further payments.
As the payment was done less than 72h hours from your email, the transaction done on the 01.12.2016 has been refunded. Depending on your bank, the funds can take 5-7 days to show back on your account.
If you change your mind and would like to subscribe back, your subscription page is:

To be honest, I've never really had a problem with Deezer, and they seem to be relatively customer focused. It's good to see that things worked out!

As above, I've had no issues with Deezer and I picked up the 3 months free, made sure to cancel it as soon as I got it as I was trialing after moving from Spotify.

There's an auto cancel feature on their site that cancels when your sub expires, really useful!
