Has this anything to do with what I experienced on Saturday night with movies and BT going off for awhile?

their is or has been an issue losing channels having to re-pair cards to box etc much worse in CCcam no real surprise as its dead these days oscam works better though it has same issue losing channels but pairing card again sorts it for most

Ahhh, would this explain the random freezing on various channels recently from previously impeccable service.

to be honest mate no idea would think thats different issue to losing channels but only that lot will know

Just something I noticed recently and more of an annoyance than anything but gut feeling is somebody messing about their end.

With reference to constant freezing i put it down to over subscribed supplier.
My old supplier was great for years but froze a lot about 5 or 6 weeks ago.
I changed supplier around then and it rarely if ever freezes. But new supplier had the issue of some c/s not clearing while other were clear. It was fixed with in an hour or so.

Below is a copy of what I came across online with freezing issue.
(not channels dropping)........

  You`ve definitely noticed growing number of freezing, lags and glitches over the past week on skyuk channels.
  Some of it was due to issues on our core servers which was dealt with very quickly.
  The main reason is recent general issue on SkyUK ecm packets carrying bad cw both through public cache and local cards.
  Up until now no one knows for sure why this is happening but this is general. Further updates will be posted here if we get any.
  Update (Sep 9th) : we have partially fixed the issue on Skyuk, kindly check the quality and channels with which you had issues in the past week and report back to us.

for what i gather the main cause was sharing cache badly but i never use pay servers
