is there anything like this out there?

I apologise if this has been asked before but doing a search, i don't think it has...

With all the different sorts of boxes coming out on the market every day; is there any box which maybe dual boots as a satellite tuner (enigma2 etc) as well android?

So what I'm trying to say is that you can watch a satellite feeds well as have all the benefits of android apps (catchup tv, kodi, games, streaming etc).

yes wetek play does, but is very slow. better is it to get a stable enigma 2 and sepperately an droid tv box

why compromise get 2 boxes one for sat and one for android

I had an old i5 desktop, put a deul DVB-s2 card in it, then installed LibrElec (its free) a very basic Linux OS that just runs Kodi, use the addon that comes with it TVHeadend to run the DVB card and you are done
