Wheres the best place to look for family holidays nowaday's?

Last time we went abroad, we went into a shop and booked it, i'm assuming its better done online now.
Are there any good trustworthy sites for booking a holiday or any best avoided?
I am taking two kids so don't want any dodgy "chance yer luck" deals lol

Spain (Benidorm) , Canary Islands, something of that nature I'm after..

any recommendations? Tia

I would go to Bali which is very cheap to stay or any other south east asian country. I would not take kids though :-D

its a family holiday...
taking the kids is a priority lol

I use TripAdvisor & holidaycheck to see real reviews
I use Travelsupermarket, Airbnb, Trivago & holidaylettings to search for hotels/apartments/holidays

Jet2.com do great holidays mate and great flight times from Glasgow or Edinburgh. Have used them lots and highly recommend @buzzer

We got a good deal with Cooking Tom last year m8 and they have there own reps on site at the holiday resort to assist you with your inquiries and to ensure you have a great holiday. :)

travelrepublic & lowcostholidays are pretty competitive mate defo worth a look. You really need to decide where you want to go first though, not sure Benidorm would be my first choice with kids (although the beaches are fantastic).
HH.

Thanks for the tips, I have Been having a look around and Bulgaria looks good value for money .

Is thus a safe country to take kids ?
Does anyone any advice good or bad on thus?

have a place very near there, la carhuilla in between torremolinos and benel, great for kids, good restaurants some expensive some cheaper, good supermarkets, lots to do ,classy marines, good local buses, fantastic beaches, cheap flights . try soltimor, timorsol, buensol apts (basic but clean and very near beach,) torremolinos a bit tacky but OK.

Tenerife for me , especially the water park last time went 3 times. cheap as chips to eat n drink. We got a self catering apartment for £500 for 2 weeks and flights came to £1600 for 5. complex had a cracking pool stones throw from the beach. all inc is a thing of the past unless you wanna be stuck to the hotel.

If you think what little un's eat they don't get anywhere nr what you pay up front. Or , Florida , love it to bits , you only live once. The way I look at it , if I fill every credit card to the max and drop dead tomorrow I'll die a rich man

This is what I've heard, a lot of organized crime there now. It is such a shame I've been twice in the eighties and it was great, really cheap and lovely golden beaches and crystal clear water of the black sea.

I believe Croatia is meant to be nice, nice beaches and fairly cheap, You would have to check which resorts are good for families as some resorts are becoming a bit 18/30's I believe.

Take a look at the algarve in Portugal.
Spent a fair bit of time there and can highly recommend.
