Ok guys n girls I want idea's for Xmas present for my grandson who is 5 year old. I would rather get something different as he wants for nothing & his parents normally cover everything. He loves animals & countryside in general. Me being tech oriented would normally pick some new tech from China. Anway loads of smart people on here to give suggestions on what prezzie to get. I ask now to give delivery time from China or anywhere else.

Any input welcome

Why not take him to the zoo instead of a present he will love you for it and you cannot beat it.great value or the Sealife Centre. (Gift voucher pass) ;)

He goes the zoo & sea life centre fairly regular. Also spends a lot of time on various farms with anything from chickens upto horses on them (he loves it )

Does he have any pets at home?. Clear it with his parents first though?. ;)

I agree with Miggy, if the lad likes animals and the countryside then a visit to the Zoo or perhaps one of the small "petting zoos" that are scattered about. Don't know where you are located but I'm near Whipsnade Zoo and they do special overnight stays and be a Zoo Keeper days where you help feed and wash and clean animals and get up close to them, pretty sure that other zoos must do similar things, so it could be a treat that is a new experience for you as well.

He goes to south lakes zoo regularly (think over winter they only ask for donations over a £1) . Lots of the enclosures you can walk through & because there are two farms in the family a petting zoo wouldn't be much different to the farms.
