TOM TOM 5 SILENT poi warnings??

Does anyone know if it is possible to have the speed camera warnings (audible) when Tomtom IS NOT on a route, ie just normal driving? I don't want to have to plan a route everytime i go somewhere just so that i can see the cameras. This is on Tomtom 5 for the pocket pc.

yes you can all u have to do is when setting up the warning sound ,distance from camera etc it should come up with another screen saying WARN ONLY WHEN ON ROUTE all u have to do is untick the box
