So I got my new well new to me civic in black, it needs a little spit n polish I think so not 100% sure what to do. I have managed to borrow a single speed rotating buffer off my mate but not sure what to buy to use with it.

So I understand the following

Good wash of car
Dry car off
Claybar car

Then this is where I don't know what to do/ get

Do I do

Cleanser-Polish | Car Polish designed to clean and protect your vehicles paintwork first with the buffer then

Hydra-Wax | Carnauba based Liquid Wax designed for Surface Care Protection

If so do I use the buffer with the polish and Wax or just the polish lol confused :D

Make sure you give the car a good soaking with just water to get the excess dirt off it first,if not you will risk scratching it if you go straight to the washing stage.

Also be carefull with the rotating buffer mate as i have known people burn the paintwork by not using the correct products and or pressing on too hard with the machine.

Meguiar's range of car care products are very good and quite easy too use especially for the average joe on the street,JUST LIKE ME.;)

So let the machine do the work I guess? I have just been looking at the Auto Glym range as its on special at Halfrauds at the moment and they do a G3 clay mitt which is spossed to be quiet good.
