Robot hoovers

Im just wondering if anyone owns one, if they are good, if i was going to buy one what would be the best buy ect,

I don't have any experience of using them, but if You are considering trying one, I noticed today on hukd that Maplin were selling one for £39.99.

It caught My eye when I saw it, and if You read the reviews they all seem good. Seems like it might be good if You have wood flooring.

Only good for hard flooring. Useless on carpet.

Im not expecting to much but yes i would be useing it for living room and hall which is wood

And when ya get fed up with it you can stick in an Arduino Uno and have it fetch ya tinnies and munchies :hubbahubba:

B&Q are doing these type of hoovers for about £15 which were 6v. Can't imagine they'd be any good for that price but may give you an idea of what to expect and I'm sure you'd be able to take it back if it was crap. Proabbly will be for this price and voltage.
