How come the only thing this stuff sticks to is human flesh ??.I tried some on an ornament and it just slid around. I got a drop on my finger and touched neck and I nearly had to cut them apart with a knife

Lol, and once you have opened it and used some of the glue, you then put the top back on for future use and it then sets rock hard and is then useless. :(

The best thing to do when using superglue is to use an activator spray on one surface, this provides instant grab so you need to be accurate when bring the 2 surfaces together

I've never really found a good use for mediocreglue, not one.

Although I did have some Loctite stuff with an instant activator spray which was useful for tacking wires onto PCBs.

I bought 20 tubes from a market for a quid......got them home and they were all empty:Angryfire

I find just wetting one of the surfaces is usually sufficient. And yes, no matter how cheap or dear, the stuff has always set solid by the net time you need it lol! So for that reason I too normally go for the 'ten tubes for a quid'-type stuff :)

Apparentley, super glue was developed to close open wounds by sticking flesh together to prvent infection in the battle field

I can believe that, I took me 20mins get my finger off my neck, I'm just glad no one came to the door

Suppose can wear rubber gloves so no glue on fingers, but then you lose the manual dexterity

This post made me laugh :)

I am not sure if it should be in the fun and laughter room or the rant room ;)

I always end up sticking my fingers together with that stuff, kind of fun slowly pulling it apart.

If it's good enough for tutankhamon it's good enough for you lol

And once opened you go bake a few days/weeks later to use it again and its rock hard in the tube lol
So basicly use once to stick flesh lol

Just remember not to scratch any itches while using the stuff

Reminds me of a story I heard a while back..a guy took revenge on his cheating girlfriend by putting superglue on the toilet seat.

She didn't notice it and sat down
