anyone got any thoughts on this deal got a call from virgin today they offered me
upgrade my broadband to 60mb free tivo box free second box hd box activated installed
xl package sky sports package movies package phone line with free weekend calls £88.00 a month any thoughts
 
That sounds like a good deal I have a v+ box 1 hd box 20 meg broadband xl tv with sports and movie package and free evening and weekend calls and that is £94.00 per month :(
 
I am pretty sceptical with anything virgin offer for free or cheap.The deals and free addons i got for them repeatedly offering bad service ended up costing me alot more than they quote. Best to check your bills to make sure they charge you what they quoted. They also offer better deals to new customers ,so no loyalty to there existing customers.

Spot on there goldeneagle I agree with you new customers get the bargains and existing customers get nothing. £1.50 it costs for them to send me MY bill. Problem is I don't think you will beat there broadband speeds. :(

i personally would never spend that amount

If i sat at home everyday and watched it constantly,might get me moneys worth, i can see why Richard B is Stinkin rich
 
ive been with virgin for 18 years + [ntl]i have an hd box, xl pack free 0845 and 0870 numbers along with free calls i have 100 meg bb i pay 67.00 ive been offered a tivo but dont record , so didnt need 1 kids have got great deals on their mobiles so happy all round

I am going to be paying £23 (i think it is) as of next month for 60Mb BB so I am happy with that. The rest they can keep!
 
Just remember, once they have you the extras start to creep up on ya :( Virgin are like everybody else in it for the money! I have yet to find some company that is actually for the consumer (we live in hope) lol :p
