Hey fellas
Had a lot of work done on the flat to stop damp and mould, which has sorted the issue, but certain patches keep coming back. The outside has been cured so I was Wondering what paint to use to stop it?

You can also get paint designed for painting bathrooms and kitchens: usually a satinish emulsion.

I know Crown and Dulux do them. They are also easy to wipe over and clean if any mould develops.

treat with a good fungicide wash then use an oil based undercoat (must not be shiney) then over coat with a kitchen and bathroom midsheen paint.

If all else fails try three coats of PVA - dilute 6:1 (water to PVA) - allow 2 hours between coats.

Thats what I would have recommended .......in fact I have done this and it does work.

What you shouldn't do is try to 'wash off' the mould using a water/bleach solution as it will feed the mould and spread. Also wear gloves and a mask if possible
