About 9 months ago I bought a stereo from china which got delivered to my house by dhl thought great and didn't think anything about it. A few days ago I got a letter from a company called 'control account plc', who say they are chasing a debt on behalf of DHL who paid the customs duty on my behalf. The thing is I didn't receive one invoice from DHL. I am sure they usually ask for payment before delivering the goods. What shall i do ignore it or send them a letter saying that i don't recall this debt and they need to prove that I owe DHL money. They have given me 7 days to pay £72.00 which includes £12.00 admin charge (I have a right mind of sending them a letter with admin charge myself) shall i pay it or ignore it?
