good news at last for me

My dad had his operation yesterday, 3 major heart valves replaced with a mix of metal and pigs valves, he was given a 50/50 chance of making it out the theatre and was told his liver/kidneys would fail under the knife and they were going to keep him asleep for upto a week if needed,
well he pulled through it ok but today i phoned the hospital to see how he was only to be told he is fine and sitting up having his fooking launch, i'm starting to think my dad is some kind of super human with what he's had in the last 17months, stroke brain abscess x3, kidney failure, endocarditis 5 or 6 times (thats what ate his heart valve replacment away) and god knows what else..
Mind you he was running marathons 10years ago so now my mom has hidden all his shorts n trainers in case he gets the idea again lol
