Wish me luck.

P.S this will be our second. We had Poppy last year and baby number 2 due 2moro.

I'm excited but also slightly worried how much stress etc will be involved looking after 2 children under 2.

Anyway I wonder if you can all help. I'm stuck for a name its going to be a little girl but for the life of me can't think of any names. When we decided on Poppy last year it was like we both thought of the name and instantly agreed, but this year we are really struggling for names.

So any suggestions are more than welcome.

Thanks

Hi mate,

Sure it's a very exciting time for u all and sure ur pooin urself too. Well hope everything goes tex book for u all and sure ur lookin forward to the sleepless nites. ;)

Fook me leaving it a bit late for names I'm thinkin lol. Well if first baby is poppy then sure the second one HAS to be daisy? (I no twin girls with these names).

What ever u decide then make sure u take ur surname in to consideration as my sons initials were almost "GAY". He wud have loved me when he went to school, wudnt he. Lmao

Lilly
holly

olivia

ive always liked jessica lol

Olivia and Jessica were on our list in fact Marie really likes Olivia.

But Holly I really like we've not thought of Holly before. I'm going to txt the wife that one and see what she thinks.

It will put me in the good books lol as she's been having a little bit of a moan recently over the naming as I've not really thought of many and the ones Marie has picked I wasn't overly keen

Don't get me wrong Daisy is a nice name but I'm just not sure on that one. Its really really hard picking names. I don't know maybe I was just expecting one to jump out at me like last time (Poppy was the only real name that we wanted last time)

I'm a bit of a traditionalist so we called our lad George and our little girl Charlotte. The lads name can't be shortened but my daughter likes being called Charlie and it's does sound a bit more modern in that respect.Whatever you decide mate it will be fine,as long as shes fit and healthy, thats all that matters.Good luck with everything, you'll be the happiest man alive when she pops out, name or no name.

I also know somebody who decided on Daisy as their second childs name, however you can imagine the stick your kids would get if they were enrolled in the same school with the names Poppy and Daisy.
Kids are cruel.

I've always like the name Hope.

Hope is a nice name , but I’m edging towards Holly(as mentioned by Huggi).

It’s just so hard picking a name lol I keep changing my mind.

But then I keep thinking will people think it’s a bit strange picking flowers/ plants as names which wasn't our intention we just liked Poppy as a name regardless of its association to the plant but now I like Holly I'm wondering if they'll think I'm some raving hippy who likes picking plant names lol

Congratulations, hope it all goes well.

We were going to have Abigail but had a boy and the one on the way is a boy as well so looks like that's out the window.

Theres 10 and a half months between my 2, it was hard at first but you soon get into the old routine. Now they are 5 and 6 and very close so it was worth it in the end :)

That’s what we were hoping for. Must admit Marie has found it hard having 2 pregnancies close together. It’s also a squeeze on the old budget too as she is now off work for 8 months and was off for 7 on last pregnancy.

It’s all worth it tho. When Poppy gives me a cuddle nothing else matters.
