Hi

Got divx film with embedded subs. I know i could convert to dvd the open with dvdshrink but is there a quicker way ?

Or will that not work ??

Cheers

You cant if their embedded, all you can do is cut off the bottom of the screen
so you their not there, but you'll lose part of your movie

If they're embedded and not using a .sub or .srt file then I think the only way you could get rid of them is to crop the video, could be wrong though.

If they are hardcoded, then you either have to blur them or crop them. No other way of removing them.

Theres hard coded subs then embedded subs which are included in the wrapper... If they are embedded then you should be able to disable the sub track in options. If there is no option then more than likely they are hard coded which you cant really do anything about under then blur it out or crop the video which isnt worth doing... Might as well download another version.

I blurred them out with virtual dub and some filter/add on.

Cheers
