Shopper Discounts ??

I've just gone through my bank statement online and seen a transaction I hadn't made. It comes up as shopperdiscounts.co.uk and was for £10.

Checking online I found the website and it appears I have been signed up to a membership with them for £10 per month ??

I do not know anything about this. I rang the bank and they looked and said it also came out in January. I tried my usual login and password on the website and it logged me in and has all my details.

Not sure how I have signed up to it though. Perhaps it was a 'free' trial and I didn't cancel a subscription, but not sure why I would have used it.

Called them to cancel and it appears I made a transaction online with Movie Tickets (I remember this it was to take my lad to see Avatar 3d) when I signed up there was an off to receive £15 cash back, so I thought oohh I can essentially get free tickets now. So I signed up for their 30 day 'free trial' and waited for the email to come through with my money back details, but it never did. Then I completley forgot all about it. What a con though as I only provided my payment details to the Movie Tickets website and it must have passed these on to Shopper Discounts.

Has anyone else found this?

I had a similar thing last year when I purchased some cards from Vista print. As you go through the checkout process there is a box that appears to signup for this discounts thing, but there is no mention of them taking money, the first I saw of it was on my credit card statement, but after some irate emailing I got my money back.
