Hi

I've just painted a door and frame using Dulux water based gloss and I have
to admit it looks rubbish, can anybody advise me if I will be able to just
lightly sand it with wet and Dry and then go over it again with an oil based
gloss paint without any bad reactions . Thank you

Yep, nothing to worry about, as long as the water based gloss was applied
over an appropriate undercoat/primer.

Thanks Alex I did apply it over an undercoat on the frame but direct onto
rubbed down gloss on the door

If all is well with the underlying surface and you got good adhesion (which
it sounds like you did) then I would be very surprised if you had any
problems.

Take care
