Noticed this on a freeware site i use often.
Its Microsofts Security Essentials which is free and available for download now at these links.
Microsoft Security Essentials for Vista 1.0.1611 Download - Freeware Files.com - Security/Privacy Category
Microsoft Security Essentials for XP 1.0.1611 Download - Freeware Files.com - Security/Privacy Category
I can't give a review as i just loaded it today on my virtual pc running xp.
One thing i did notice is that its very light and easy to use.
If you have used Defender or Onecare then this will be easy for you.
Don't know if i would recommend it as a primary defence but might be worthwhile trying on an old clunker you might have lying around or a virtual pc.
Quick Update
Here is a link with more info.
Thanks for the heads up Hamba.
