I did a street survey thing the other week ans they gave me a prize draw ticket.

They rang me today to tell me I had won a holiday and to ring another number to claim it and get the details. It was a freephone number so I rang them. They told me it was a booking fee of £29/person and to claim it I just needed to go to Birmingham NEC on a specified date.

Seems a bit dodgy to me.

Anyone else want a cheap holiday - 0800 988 9904

The company is called Club La Costa ???

they want u to buy into a timeshare m8 thats what it is

its a scam as said before its for timeshare. why would you win a prize but then have to pay to book it

THINK you have to sit through a 3 hour presentation at the NEC where they try to get you to buy the Timeshare. The holiday you've won is probably at a Timeshare Resort with lots more presentations & hard sell.
Stay strong & don't sign there & then if you go.
HH.

yea m8 things like that never fall on your lap!!! they have to be too good to be true.

Some-one phoned the other day saying my wife had won a holiday, same thing I suppose, pay £29 BLAH,BLAH,BLAH.

However, I do know people who have been on them and said the holiday was OK. Not my cup of tea having someone trying to pressure sell to me.

My neighbours (gullible) went on one last year ,and as I thought, they bought a timeshare. Funny thing is they already have a timeshare in Florida.

stay away from it mate, Happy H is right.. thats exactly whats it all about.. whats a point loosing £29 per person..

PS: devil666x your avatar is magic...

Club la Costa is a "Holiday Club". Read it as timeshare of you like. You basically pay a wad of cash up front, say 4 grand, and then they give you points to use on accomodation all over the world. You have to find the flights. My father in law did it and he's been on about 6 holidays with them. We went with them this year skiing to Austria and the accomodation was good ( they own their own places ) and the staff were excellent. It didn't work out very cheap though and you can get far better deals in the shops.
It's not something I would ever bother with but the in laws seem happy. But they do like burning cash.
