tosh sd380 muli region hack

can anyone help ive brought this dvd. tried this hack but it didnt work

The Region Hack for the Toshiba SD-380 is:

1) Open the tray
2) Press buttons in this order: 2 4 0 3 9 6 0 9
3) Nothing will appear until you press the final "9"
(A "9" will appear in the Blue Box in the top right corner of the screen)

The player will then be Region-Free.

Sorry, that is the correct code.

Did you try it from a cold start with nothing in the drive?

i.e. take any disc in the player out, close tray, turn off player (at wall), turn on, start at point 1 on your hack.
