What did you use to eat years ago but don't eat now

Sandwiches with nothing but tomato sauce was one thing

Cheese and bacon was one of my favourites.

Hamburgers and gravy from a can with Chips

As a young boy we used to have Vesta Chow Mein in a box and Birds Trifle for afters and sometimes Birds Instant Whip. Powdered milk was a biggy then as well. Ice Poles at the local shop for 3d and Hubbly Bubbly.

I have to be honest, as I remember, I think you are right but it sounded good when you told yer mates you had Chow Mein for tea.

I never liked the chow Mein, but the beef'ish risotto were nice for £1 until they stopped making them.

Easy mistake to make. For health and safety reasons I am only displaying the edible parts.

I remember when I was a kid my mum used to get a packet soup I'm pretty sure it was by Bachelors, barbecue beef and tomatoe, I used to love it but can't get it anymore as far as I know

It was probably the same stuff that used to be in our free vending machine at work. It disappeared and someone stuck a Post-it note on asking for the "Red Stuff" back because it was nice .

I was fussy back then and get my mum to strain the bits out of it lol Im sure im eat them now (if I had the chance)
I have done a search for it before but couldn't find anything

I'm sure this stuff would be, of dry composition:

70% Salt
10% MSG
10% Beef & Tomato Flavour
10% Thickener

Nice though. LMAO

I used hate everything as a kid especially stovies,kippers,liver and onions the list goes on and on. But I loved Frey Bentos pies, lemon curd and potted meat. I will eat virtually anything now. I will pass on Bogies

Yes, in the same bowl.

I stopped eating fishfingers when I encountered a black one. In fact, it put me off anything aquatic for life.

I suppose this is not really eating but drinking but I loved as a kid, Cremola foam

I remember that stuff- came in a wee tin IIRC. I can't imagine what chemicals we were filling up on :FRIGHT:

Mmm, me too! Haven't had fresh rhubarb for years. They've haven't heard of it here.
