problem hi-fi

hey all

got a hi-fi they aint giving out a sound from either the cd or the radio its an old thing

its the ms351cd made by bush

anyone got any ideas

rotten speaker cones?
oxidised speaker wire (just chop off old and unsheath a bit of new)?

its not bare wire that plugs into the speaks or hi-fi, its the plugs at one end and the wire goes into the speaks at the other i can't see the end of thum

it powers on fine on teh hi-fi there is no lights on teh speaks anyway

Is the volume knob broken or is it set to the record player and not to Tuner or CD.

Make sure you have all of the cables in the right connections.
