Mickie, I have a 98 Galaxy, I had it serviced at a local garage because the Local Ford Dealer's not the best.
But they couldn't reset the light, so I Got hold of the Ford TIS CD.
Not in there.
But I found this and it does work (Well for a '98)
Resetting Service Interval Display Ford Galaxy 1995 – 2000 (M to W Reg)
With the Ignition off:
Press the trip mileage reset button and hold it in.
Turn the ignition on.
Hold trip mileage reset button in for 4 seconds (Approx)
The display Will reset.
Release the trip mileage button
Turn off the ignition.
It may be necessary to perform this operation more than once, it has been known to take the service interval back one interval at a time, this means on a 40,000 mile service the procedure may need performing 4 times (This is not always the case, check the display before repeating this operation)
Sorry of for the late response.
This isn't meant to be a way of ignoring service intervals tho'
Anyone know how to reset the oil change light on a Honda SH125? My Diversion 900 doesn't need one, wonder why the 125 does?
