can someone how this car reg thing works, iam getting confused, now we have 2 reg in one year like 08 and 58, its nutz ?? when is the dates all these reg's change, i think its march and december,,,, but i dont know really ?

08 is the beginning of year, think its march 1st. 58 is released in August. Just means that you get 2 plates in a year, so the depreciation on a new car is even greater.

it was done because in march most new cars were sold, people would hold on for months to get 'the new reg' so it was decided to space the sales of cars more evenly throught the year there would be 2 plate releases
