Would people cite where their news is from please.

I always post the author, the date and the publication.

I hate not knowing where an article comes from - maybe it's just me: how do others feel?

Apart from anything else, I think it's only right that the original author should be credited for their reporting.

I agree with that.

Articles should be properly referenced unless it is the posters' own work.
 
Sticky this in the news section. totally agree. also, please dont just copy and paste the link to the news. anyone can do that. it be nice if you can actually copy the news onto the post. it dont take very long.
 
When I 1st came here and posted something of interest, someone responded and ask me to post a source. Ever since then I have posted a source.


Its right to do that as it verifys your post.
 
As hamba has also pointed out, the date is also important. I've noticed some old news being posted recently.
