I,m looking for a CNC machinist to program and operate a Gladiator Machining Center and a Mazak Quick turn. I have tried the job center and the Evening Post with no success. The reason I am posting on Digital Worldz is that alot of you are intelligent and computer literate which is usefull in my trade. The sucessful aplicant will show ability in programming both machines from drawings, be confident in setting new jobs up on a regular basis- we dont do large batch runs and be able to get on with other people - we have a great workforce of mixed fabrication and machinists. What we offer is a great environment to work in, a great bunch of lads, and £12.75 ph for regular days. Flexi time. 12.30 finish on a Friday.

I hope that this entices some of you to reply!

Best Regards

Sean

Sorry if this is off topic? - Newbie!!!!

Quite nice to see a post such as yours. Would be very nice if we have a member who has the skills to fill your vacancy.
£12-75 p.h for dayshift is a very nice rate of pay.

Good luck Ali_Minium

If only I could program CNC machines. Sounds like a very nice job.

if only i was in Nottingham that would of been ideal right up my street

Right location but wrong qualifications.I dont even know what a cnc machinist does.

Sometimes its better to do it by hand if its 2 axis, but for consistency CNC is better especially if you are doing a lot of the same component.

I'm a time served plater/welder if you got any of those jobs going!!

Obviuously CNC is more consistent. 2 Axis CNC isnt exactly unusual it's just a Lathe rather than a borer/miller/planer/elgamill etc.

We have a few 2 and 3 axis lathes in our place right up to 7 axis Wotans.

While were at it,

I am looking for a CNC Vert or Horizontal Borer too, even a CNC Miller(5 axis preferably)
Borers with Fanuc controls and the Milling centre is Mazatrol too, in the Stockton area.

Also the same skills in and around the Glasgow area.

I am in Engineering recruitment for my sins and these skills are short on the ground in the above areas too, I used to work for a Japanese electronics CO. until theY buggered off home

30-32k per annum, spread the word my angels!!!

PM me if they take your fancy

Maybe we should have a 'Jobs on the go' part to the forum- just in-case we can help fellow members out who are looking for work???!!!!

Oh the Samaritan in me - I just cant help it- for every job I place a member in thru' this site I could donate - say £30 to server and maintenance costs??? mmm Mickie D will be salivating!!!

Just trying to help everyone!!
