hi guys

dont know if i will get slated for this but here goes anyway you will all remember the electricity meter that had the wheel go round easy to fix but does anyone know how to fix the digi ones

trump

what i used to do is tilt the meter to one side so that the wheel had to go

uphill so to speak and it worked coz it was an old meter..it struggled to

move and i tried by putting the cooker on and sure enough it stayed the

same speed.........that does not apply to all spinney meters but it worked for

me

somone told me that you can use a wire to slow down the old wheel ones.

Is this true?

Not saying I would do that....just found it funny.

classic Yank stuff

If you are sure that you use virtually the same stuff as before and your bill has gone up this much then i would ask for a new meter to be installed personally . is it a digital one or analoge one ?
