Any tips on the best product , I have removed the sign writing from my van but now there is a lot of glue that has been left behind, anyone know the best way to remove it, I have tried wd40, ipa and meths with not much luck.

white spirit will do the trick its not too harsh for the paintwork
so it wont affect the paint compaired to other paint thinners

i hope this helps...

Tcut does the job, make sure you dont do it in the sunshine or it tends to burn the paintwork and you'll have to tcut again. You could also use tar remover.

have you tried hot air? i`m sure someone told me once you use a hairdryer or something stronger maybe.

Thanks for the replies, couldn`t reply earlier as someone pinched my keyboard and I soon decided putting a reply in by copying and pasting one letter in at a time to make a word was not practical.... Tried Tcut but it really just mixed in with the glue and made a sticky mess, meths wasn`t really strong enough and just left balls and smears everywhere, in the end went with a cellulose based solvent that with a bit of effort disolved it, The van was coverd in the stuff, have decided to keep my new van a good while as I coverd it in signwriting a couple of weeks ago and don`t want to go through that again for a while, despite the fumes...
