How can you ask a question about a topic in the cable section, if you're not allowed to post ?
Does that mean you have to make 20 meaningless posts before you're allowed to participate ?
I can understand the no d/load requirement, but not being allowed to ask questions seems absurd.

Chris.: shocked2

You can ask in the Newbie cable section. People are very friendly there ;-)

Its designed to stop leechers m8. A new to cable room was created to accomodate people who genuinely want to learn. By the time they have got through 20 posts then they should be ready to progress to the other cable areas of the forum. Remember there are lots of sections to the forum wich im sure you could contribute your skills or knowledge.

Thanks Ianbbb,
In my case, it's more learning than passing on my skills or knowledge, which are very limited.

Cheers
Chris.

by using other parts of the forum sharing and contributing it shows that you are here to give as much as to take. if everyone could just come get what they wanted they would leave as soon as they had.

it's a fair and just rule which every member here has to abide by. there are plenty of ways of contributing. and no they do NOT have to be MEANINGLESS by any standard. meaningless posts will just be removed by mods/admin.

trawl the site see whats on offer and what you can contribute then im sure you will have 20 meaningfull posts in no time.

have fun. sargieboy!

It might seem that way but after a while you do pick things up which you can then pass on. I felt much like you when I started here, not sure I can add much compared to some of the very knowledgeable peeps on here but there is always plenty of banter going on in the other areas you can access. Sure you will enjoy it.
