My girlfriend has a T reg Renault Clio and we've just noticed over the last few days that the sunroof appears to be leaking. It looks like the whole sunroof is loose i.e I can lift it up slightly from the roof and obviously this is why it is leaking.
Can anyone advise on how a sunroof is fitted in a car and how to go about tightening it up again.

Thanks

I dont know mate, have never had a car with a sunroof! But could you not get a new seal for it from the scrappy? Surely the reason why you can move it, is the seal is knackered on it?

Take it to your local renault dealer m8 (ideally your girlfriend ) and they will look at it for nothing if she smiles at them. You can then buy the parts cheaper from fleabay or a scrappy :)

Alternatively you can buy the clear sealant from any Homebase / B&Q etc and put a temporary fix in for about £2.00 :D just make sure the car's dry before you do it, and mask the paintwork around the sunroof so you can just lift it while it's drying to give a tidy finish.

try my site mate

www.williamsclio.co.uk

its a common fault on clios, look in the forum and do a search on sunroofs(you will get plenty of returns)
