just a we note 4 u renault clio owners,,,a few weeks ago there was a post up regarding the bonnets on these cars flying open,,,,i saw this happen today on motorway, lady involved must a been doing 60 mph at most ended up car wrecked smashed windscreen and rim of roof around window bashed not to mention the kinking done around hinges of car bonnet & bonnet wrecked.........if u own a clio or n e renault for that matter its worth checking the latch is working & upto doing the job its there for,,,dont b afraid to give bonnet a good pull up without touching release lever,,do this with bonnet down completley and pull hard,,,if u can open it this way ,well so could the wind at 30 mph never mind 70,,,so dont delay a quick check could save your life or if in doubt get it checked out....................... i hear on the grapevine there is a problem with clio bonnets flying open & renault are looking into this personally ive came across a few renault models with problems with the bonnets have u????
