Pace 1000 from xCW area to Pure N*L area

Hi guys

is ther anyway in setting up a Pace 1000 from an exCW area to a Pure N*L area

Im in the bolton area and my lady friend is in the Northampton area
I believe the Pace boxes in that area are the 4000 series.

What do I need to do to get it to work in that area.

Change the frequency, the network ID, is there anything else I need to change.

Or will it not work at all

will not work at all m8

this box will work no problems.
change net id and frequency, then boot box while holding power button.
when it says ok enter 4321 using the button next to the led display (start at bottom and work up)
then press ok button.(this is a forced update which will allow channel map to be downloaded)
leave it to update. and presto! all excw boxes will work on pure ntl streams, but purentl will not work on excw streams.

@BIG KID - please consider that information you offer if at all possible should be verified as we have many inexperienced users here and the problems it could cause them are obvious.

ntl vod will make no difference mate - the 1000 will still work (remove any update mod because they are not required on langley streams. we don't have ppv problems cos if we are vod we don't get it and if aren't vod we do.
