Hi,

Reading through, its seems I cant do much with my Terayon modem and was wondering if anyone could suggest an alternative and where to get it from.

I'm in a pure N T L area.

Thanks
Paul.

Thanks for the reply.

Are SB likely to stop working soon?

but the sb5100 looks cooler... and that's what matter most.

Hi,

I've searched on Google and ebay but no luck. Any good UK sites that sell them?

Thanks
Paul.

I got a sb5100 fro the exact reason cos they looked good and the sb4*** look so 1970's.You see some of them on ebay that have turned yellow?
I've had more success with a sb5100 and blackcat than sb4200e but i'm an amature???
Also they talk about docsis 2 thats another reason i got it but i cant see that coming any time soon maybe never as they would have to replace all the modems out already?
Ebay is your best bet or tcniso.
If i knew now i would be tempted with a blackcat combo from tcniso.
I think the postage could make it expensive ,but anyone i know who said they got it from there seems to be happy with the result and i think they may be a bit more helpful if you had problems?

M8 looks arnt everything, as long as it works then it does the job, also it is better in ways as the 4100 4200 is quicker to do, no black kat to buy or make. paint it black and bobs ur uncel lol.

I'm a convert.
The sb4*** are the most versatile modems.
Fiberware is the nuts!
Sigma is w*nk!
