Hi Peepz

Just a general questions to people with knowledge/experience with both options.
Which is better IPTV or Cable? overall just in your option nothing to serious.
As you know sly on it's last legs & I'm weighing up all options currently.
so your advise will help me & other on this forum to make the choice, obviously some area still don't have cable so unfortunate for them but for the majority.

Don't want to ask too many question as this is one of Abz pet hates ;-)

thanks

Ice

I would choose cable over iptv but for those who not in cable area then iptv is good alternative.

Just make sure you test the service first and read the reviews.

100% cable over iptv m8

The UK subbed channels must be coming from Cable so the direct source has to be better

You know it's not a straight comparison iptv v ccs

All the ccs servers will provide you with the same channel line up no matter who you choose.
The IPTV services are all different. Some providers carry as few as 120 channels and some carry over 5000 if they have a VOD library too. Some have their own apps and kodi add ons, some sort the channels into folders using m3u_plus, some provide the epg and logos for you, some just give you a list ...

I vote quality IPTV with multiple copies of the sports channels to cater for the extra demand they get for those channels during the big games.

Can't decide what one of the two is better than the other.
Only recently looked into IP*V and was surprised with what I see.
So much more choice on IP*V especially when I get to watch riverplate live on it. Cable can't offer that.
So many more sports to pick from all in HD and box sets.

But downside to IP*V i don't get local regions
(BBC/ITV)

So rather than pick one over the other I run both.
For all it costs when you consider paying vermin your still saving ridiculous amount of loot.
If you get a good cable tuner go with that then all else fails add IP*V without needing to buy another box.
On my H2.H both run without any problems at the same time.
Just like a twin tuner you can also record of tuner B and watch IP*V.

I think best thing is to do is have a hybrid setup. I'm going to get a TM-NANO-SE M2 PLUS TRIPLE Combo 2 cable tuners, 1 sat and then iptv when I find a provider I am happy with. Plus my own plex server.

One box covers all situations.
