current I'm running a dm800hd se on satellite but as channels are starting to disappear i am going to change to run a dvb-c tuner. Anyone else done this?

If you do make sure you get the back plate to, or you'll have to take the grinder to the old one.

Cheers I have just purchased a dvb-c tuner off digitalworldz it says it comes with backplate so hopefully all will be ok. Im looking for a decent image to put on and a new line as I'm informed my cows line i have for satellite won't work

I could be wrong here and admin will do doubt correct me, but I looked at that one on DW and the back plate shown is for a dm800hd, the se model is totally different at the back.

People mix up the "DM800 HD" (has DVI port) with the "DM800 HD SE" (has HDMI port)

The DM800 HD needs a whole back plate as wide as the receiver.
The DM800 HD SE has a small back plate around the tuner aperature. The tuners should come with this anyway.
